The cottage was beautifully designed and had a charming sunroom where you could relax and enjoy the company of visiting hens. The location was great, with easy access to main roads and plenty of nearby towns and beaches to explore.
The nearest shop was quite far away, so if you're used to popping out for essentials, it might be a hassle. , there were no small supermarkets or newsagents nearby, so be prepared to drive a bit if needed.

Our stay at Roualeyn was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful host, Gale, who made sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was beautiful and well-fitted with all the amenities we could ask for. We especially appreciated the comfortable rooms, the free range eggs in the kitchen, and the reliable wifi. Not to mention, the location on a working farm added a special touch to our rural Scotland experience. We enjoyed going on long walks around the area and even got to see tractors and telehandlers in action. It was truly a memorable stay that we will never forget. I would highly recommend Roualeyn for a perfect vacation.

The cottage was cozy and had a rustic charm. The interior design was appealing and there was a lovely fireplace to keep warm. The location was great, with beautiful walks and scenery nearby. Plus, the fact that it was pet-friendly was a huge bonus for us.
The cottage was quite far from any convenience stores or supermarkets, so it was a bit of a hassle to drive to get essentials. it was an okay stay but the location and lack of amenities made it less convenient.
